We are two teachers, married over 30 years.
Sybil’s passion for turning kids onto the joy of reading led her first to being a children’s librarian, then a classroom teacher, and finally to opening that door for those with dyslexia, where she can have the most life-altering impact.
As a special education teacher for 23 years, Robert serves primarily as a resource of information about learning issues, and about school policies, both written and unwritten. He taught language arts for nine years to high school students with autism, learning disabilities, and emotional issues. He occasionally supports clients by accompanying them to school meetings.
Their son attended Gwinnett schools for 7 years and recently graduated from Princeton University.
